Akon signs Sway from the UK. after getting Kardinal Offishal from Canada on his label. I reckon Akon figures he cant sign the top, second and maybe even third tier urban artists in the US (most probably because they're already in comfortable positions record deal-wise), so he's gunning for the top tier artists from other urban music markets. Both artists, Kardinal and Sway have got their national music industry game on lock, so hopefully these moves will be a springboard for them to other markets.
