If I have musical brothers and sisters, it follows that I have musical cousins, too. one crew i consider to be my cousins are Soul ID.

Currently they consist of Ndru, Miss JayDee and Tabib Qiu (YAAAAAWWW!!!), and they are working on their latest, Like Love Life, their fourth studio album. Believe they gets its going onstage.

But before this current incarnation, Soul Id was a trio, made up of Ndru, Glen and Jiggytime. And I was closest to Jiggytime, real name Maurits Simandjuntak.

4 years ago on this day, the trio completed the last song on their second album. after the session, during his drive home, Maurits met with and accident and passed away.
So here's to that dude Jiggy. I dont feel like rocking my flyest kicks and jerseys whenever I fly over to Jakarta anymore, cos you're not around for me to battle and see who the freshest anymore.

4 years ago on this day I got a text from your manager telling you got your call and had to leave. I told the rest of my crew. Nina shed some tears, I just went in my room, put your cd on blast and zoned out, till i fell asleep. The next day I got up and wrote me some rhymes, cos I know thats what you'd have me do.
